Chapter One of “War Comes to Harry Nile.”  February 25, 1942.  It’s been just over two months since Pearl Harbor and Los Angeles is still nervous about Japanese air attacks. That night the skies over L. A. explode with the sounds and lights of massive anti-aircraft fire. Into this nightmare ventures Harry Nile, trying to solve the mystery of the light that shouldn’t be.
