FAQ

How do I download my MP3 files?

NOTE: Imagination Theatre is not a streaming service. When you purchase show(s), you will download the audio file(s) once and save them on your computer, phone or tablet. You will have the audio file stored on your device and can play it at any time whether you are online or offline.

When you checkout and complete your order, your download links will be available on the “Order Success” page. Your download links will also be available in your store account. You can login to your account and go to “Downloads” and your download links will be available there.

Please download your files as soon as you can after completing your order. Once the download starts, it’s important that it finishes in its entirety before attempting to open it. Pay attention to where you download the files, so you can find them easily. In Windows, most browsers will save files to the “downloads” folder which you can find inside “my documents.” For Apple devices, the default destination is either the desktop or the “downloads” folder inside your home folder. If the files aren’t in those default locations, open your browser preferences to find where your browser saves downloaded files by default. Your download links allow you to download the file(s) 10 times, and will be active for 14 days from the date of purchase. If you need further assistance with your downloads, contact us, and we will be glad to assist you.

How do I open and play my MP3 files?

Your MP3 file downloads are saved as a compressed .ZIP file which will need to be unzipped. To ‘unzip’ your files, simply double-clicking on a file will begin extracting the contents. In some cases you’ll be prompted to select a destination for the unzipped folder. Otherwise, your unzipped folder will most likely be created in the same location as the original .zip file. You can also select the file and right click on it. In the menu that pops up select unzip/extract/open (your operating system may use one of these terms) to unzip the file and get the MP3 file.

Can I make copies of the files?

The MP3 files of our shows are copyrighted and our terms of use allows you to make copies for personal use only, if you want to burn them to CD, or import them into your media player. You can not make copies and distribute them, that is file piracy.

Can I save the MP3 files on your server?

Please download the files and save them to your computer/device as soon as you can after your order. The download links expire after 10 downloads, to give you ample time to retrieve the files. If you need further assistance, please contact us and we will be glad to help you. We are not a media streaming service like iTunes or Amazon Music, where you stream the media from their servers. Please download and save the files on your device(s) and you can take them anywhere, anytime and listen to them online or offline.
