This is chapter 13 of “War Comes to Harry Nile.”  The war in Europe is over, in the Pacific the Allies are getting ready for the invasion of the Japanese Islands with low estimates for loss of life being around a million souls. Harry Nile isn’t aware of that number when he’s asked to guard a brand new invention that could shorten the war and cut the number of deaths by hundreds of thousands. No, it’s not the Atomic Bomb.
